  • Thorax SSM in logistics

PAYLOAD OPTIMIZATION OF 40 %

In warehousing and logistics in particular, it is important that your employees can carry out physically demanding work in a healthy manner.

The Thorax SSM supports the spine when lifting loads and carrying heavy packages and when moving goods on pallets by optimizing the load capacity by up to 40 %. This makes your employees more efficient and more enduring during physically demanding work. In addition, the Thorax SSM distributes the load and prevents hunched backs when lifting and hollow backs when carrying and lifting, thereby providing the highest level of preventive protection. This reduces the workload for your employees and minimizes the risk of injury.

Thanks to the employee's existing mobility, all tasks in the warehouse can be performed. At the same time, their natural memory helps to bring the body into an upright position and relieves pressure on the spine. The Thorax SSM can be worn throughout the entire activity thanks to the continuous freedom of movement. The flexible carbon construction ensures the very light weight of the Thorax SSM, which weighs from 690 grams depending on the size.

The carbon orthosis can be worn comfortably under work clothing and is invisible and protected from dust and stains.

The preventive mode of action of the Thorax SSM always reminds the body of an ergonomic position and also relieves the spine.

DYNAMIC ACTIVE STABILIZATION

The design and construction of the Thorax SSM system actively stabilizes the entire torso dynamically. By actively guiding the spine in the system, rotational movements of the trunk are dynamically controlled and the spine is protected from rotational damage. The muscles are stimulated to work actively, which results in a significantly higher utilization of the trunk muscles. The affected joints are particularly protected by the active system of the Thorax SSM.

The shoulder girdle, spine, pelvis and hips experience anatomical loading, which leads to better force distribution and therefore a gentler posture.
